Haha this shall be my last post for 2008. I didn't post much this holidays, maybe because I was too busy. Come to think of it, I can't really remember what I did. Haha my memory...sigh. My mum suddenly told me that we were going to bangkok, around the end of this month. She always tells me things at the last minute. Tsk tsk. But I was looking forward to it:D Haha cos we used to go very often until the past couple of years. No idea why. So we flew on 20th at about 4.30pm. Whee. My sisters were hopping up and down on the plane cos they were so excited. I told them if the plane crashed, it'd be their fault. Haha. My dad has quite alot of friends there so every time we visit, it's like lunch appointments, dinner appointments... Each time, Sandy will invite us to stay at her place. It's really...huge. haha and she has three big guard dogs. they scare me sometimes. okay, they scare me all the time. haha. she also has this small poodle named eq san. i think that's how it's spelled, not sure. Oh i haven't mentioned who's Sandy. It goes a long way back. She came to Singapore to study in sec 2 and she stayed at my place for 2 years, until she completed her o levels. then she went back to bangkok to study in university. she doesn't need to go to junior college. how cool. i think it's cos our education system is better. not sure. but we've kept in touch so we visit her often and she visits us often. haha. the first 3 days were spent shopping, shopping and more shopping. omg it was scary. we went to the weekend market on sunday, platinum mall on monday and...lemme think. i forgot where we went on tuesday. Oh oh I went to meet Nile for lunch. After that, my dad went to meet uncle prapat for tea. haha it's just meeting alot of people. then we went to MBK for a while to get cream for all the mosquito bites we had. haha there were so many mosquitoes in our room on the first night. After getting cream, we went to meet my dad's friends for dinner. The last time we met them was 2004, when we went to chiang mai together. it was so fun!!! whee. i missed them so much. We went to this really nice place for dinner. The whole plot of land looks like a big swiss cottage with a swan lake, grass patches for rabbits to roam. The trees there were decorated with sparkling lights. haha. it only lacks a few windmills make it perfect. I had a chicken cordon bleu and i loved it. the caesar salad was great too. oh oh and there was this super duper adorable girl called tara. she's only...4? yeah should be. omg she speaks english to her parents and speaks thai to her grandparents. cos her mother's a singaporean and her father is a thai. oh and she now has a younger brother who was born on christmas this year. omg so cool. christmas baby. he's gonna be just as adorable as his older sister. probably more. haha. omg i'm gonna beg Sandy for our photos. loveeee her. My Christmas was spent in a farm. Yes, in a farm. Hahaha it wasn't that bad. We woke up at 6 in the morning and set off to Farm Chokchai. My father's business friend invited us and he picked us up at 7am. cos it takes about 2h to get to the farm. when we reached, it was kinda cold. like...genting cold. breezy but not exactly freezing. haha. Our first stop was to look at the cows. yeah. and to watch a demonstration on milking cows. haha. Next was the ice cream factory. They showed us a video of the process of making ice cream. fresh milk flavour. their brand name is hilarious. It's Umm Milk! haha. how cute. They have yoghurt, fresh milk ice cream, milk sweets and milk. DUH. Once we knew the brand name, we couldn't stop saying it. omg it's so funny. every second, we'll go Umm Milk!! haha. We just toured around the farm. Oh i rode on a horse. Yep. And after that, i sat in a horse carriage. it's kinda scary, cos we could just fall out. not that they'll have any safety belts in a horse carriage. haha. We watched a cowboy show too. I didn't know cowboys were so cool before i watched the show. haha did i just say cowboys are cool. omg. anyway, they can do stunts with a rope, with guns and control a...cow. yeah i think it's a cow. haha. quite cool. oh and the last stunt was real scary. my sister almost cried. this cowboy came out with a whip. and swung it really hard. it made this noise that sounds like a sharp knife slicing through the air. so scary. tsk tsk. we ate lunch at the nearby steakhouse. haha it's like you just saw the cows...and volunteered to milk them...and then you eat them. okay sad sad. shall not think about it. i feel abit cruel. after that, we drove further up to this mountain called Khao Yai. Khao means mountain/hill. Yai means big. haha. i have to admit, it's huge. haha. there's this cafe somewhere in the mountain and it's really cosy. i wanted to stay there forever.
